Project Description
The client’s brief was to make the original forest visitor centre building functional for modern use with larger rooms and greater accessibility, making the visitor centre a focus for the site with an obvious entrance to attract people to the café shops and meeting rooms.
We opened up parts of the interior and created a new curved frontage and canopy to emphasise the location of the front of the building and increase the internal space.
The project was completed on time and on budget by a local contractor, with monitoring by Croft Surveyors to answer questions that arose during the work on this interesting and bespoke original building.
